SERENGETI – Keep Keepin On

Serengeti are right now putting the finishing touches on their long-awaited second album. While we wait for the album to be released this summer the reggae/dancehall songstresses are giving a preview of whats to come with the first official single “Keep keepin on”. An uptempo dancehall tune about never giving up in the everyday struggle. The tune is produced by the renowned Partillo Productions (Perfect harmony riddim/Feeding finga riddim), producer of this years swedish reggae album (Kingsize Awards). The music video is produced by Lynx Pictures, the single is released by Swing Kids.

Serengeti at P3 Bar – unreleased tunes…

Last friday Serengeti did an exclusive show at “P3 Bar”, Pustervik, Gothenburg, Sweden. As you already know Serengeti are taking a break from touring – to finish working on the second album – but thought that this was a good opportunity to preview some of the new, unreleased tunes. The show was organized by Swedish national radio P3 as a pre-party to the P3 Guld Awards. The live show will be broadcast on Swedish radio in the near future. We will keep you updated of when! In the mean time the work on the new album is progressing very well and judging by the reaction of the audience at P3 Bar, it will be a long awaited success!

Serengeti on “Sojourn Riddim” (2012)

Check out the new riddim release from Jamaican producer team Young Veterans – SOJOURN RIDDIM (2012) – featuring Serengeti, Perfect, Fantan Mojah & Osheen Pearce. In 2011 Serengeti visited Jamaica for rest and inspiration. While soaking up the reggae and dancehall influences from this vibrant island they met Jamaican producer team Sheldon & Sekou aka Young Veterans. Serengeti wrote and voiced the tune “Love the chase” the same day, for the riddim Sojourn which was released Nov 2012.

Serengeti hitting again!

The smooth Reggae-Divas from Gothenburg, Sweden, are now dropping their touching new single “Years Gone By“.

In this emotional RnB ballad the two songstresses cry out the pain of lost love – nothing remains the same and the question of how life could have been lingers on through the years…

True and Mastercat exercise the full capacity of their vocal chords over this beat produced by Sir Jai, Germany’s secret weapon of HipHop Productions. The song is released on the young yet notorious Jugglerz label from Germany.

“Years Gone By” is going to be found on Serengetis next full length album, due out 2013. Until then – enjoy this hit tune and video.
